I serien medverkar tatuerare som tävlar med varandra inom olika slags utföranden. Deras arbete granskas av andra tatuerare och tatueringsentusiaster. En deltagare får åka hem efter varje avsnitt och den som till sist blir ensam kvar får motta 100 000 dollar och tilldelas titeln Ink Master.
Ink Master är en spännande tävlingsserie där tatuerare från olika håll ställs mot varandra i en kamp om skicklighet och kreativitet.
